Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 April 2026

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Beetroot Arcade. They also serve as the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) for the Beetroot Arcade app. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

Beetroot Arcade is a trading name of Andrew Misselbrook, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, contactable at andrew@beetrootarcade.co.uk and at 13 Virginia Close, Amesbury, SP4 7QR. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Beetroot Arcade; “you” refers to the person using the app or website.

2. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Beetroot Arcade app, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and the website.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18 you must have your parent or guardian’s permission, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Beetroot Arcade on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

If you installed the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these Terms, the Apple EULA wins for App Store installations. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

4. How the service works

  • You receive one free credit every 24 hours.
  • Building a daily streak may award bonus credits.
  • You can watch optional rewarded adverts in exchange for additional credits, up to a daily cap.
  • You can buy credit packs, a Monthly Pass, or a Lifetime Pass via the App Store or Play Store.
  • Credits you have — whether free, earned from ads, from streaks, or purchased — do not expire, as long as you keep using the app and we continue to offer it.
  • High scores and leaderboards are optional and use Apple Game Center where available.

5. Purchases, passes & subscriptions

All purchases are made through, and billed by, Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Their payment terms apply alongside ours. Credits, Monthly Passes, and the Lifetime Pass grant in-app entitlements only and have no cash value.

Monthly Pass is a recurring subscription that automatically renews each month until you cancel. Cancel via the App Store or Play Store settings on your device at least 24 hours before the next renewal to avoid being charged.

Lifetime Pass is a one-off purchase that unlocks unlimited play for as long as the Beetroot Arcade service is operated. We will give you reasonable notice if the service is ever wound down.

Consumer rights & refunds. You have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The right to cancel digital content under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ends once the content starts to download or be used. For billing issues or refund requests please contact the store you bought from — Apple and Google handle refunds on our behalf. You can also email us at andrew@beetrootarcade.co.ukand we’ll do what we can to help.

6. New games & content updates

We regularly add new games, levels, events, missions, and features. We may also change, retire, or replace existing content — including rebalancing credit costs, streak rewards, or advert rewards. We’ll try not to disadvantage existing Monthly Pass or Lifetime Pass holders when we do this; any material change affecting paid entitlements will be communicated inside the app.

7. Your account & device

Beetroot Arcade does not have user accounts. Your progress, credits, streak, missions, and high scores are tied to your device’s local storage and, where applicable, to your App Store / Play Store / Game Center identity. Uninstalling the app, resetting the device, or clearing app data will erase local progress. Purchases can be restored via the “Restore Purchases” option.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use cheats, bots, trainers, memory editors, modified clients, or any automation to play the games or manipulate credits, scores, streaks, adverts, or purchases;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works of the app or its content;
  • submit fake or abusive scores to leaderboards, or impersonate another player;
  • use the service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
  • circumvent age gates, consent prompts, or advert frequency caps.

We may suspend or terminate your access, reset scores, remove ill-gotten credits, or disable Game Center integration if we reasonably believe you have broken these rules.

9. Intellectual property

The Beetroot Arcade app, this website, the Beetroot Arcade name, logo, artwork, game mechanics, music, and copy are owned by Andrew Misselbrook or our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

10. Third-party services

The app and website rely on third-party services including Apple App Store, Apple Game Center, Google Play, Google AdMob, Google’s User Messaging Platform, and Vercel. We’re not responsible for the availability, content, or accuracy of third-party services, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

11. Warranties & liability

We provide Beetroot Arcade “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including those of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of your statutory consumer rights that can’t be limited by law; or any other liability that can’t be lawfully limited.

Subject to that, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the app, or the website is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £50. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

12. Suspension & termination

You can stop using Beetroot Arcade at any time by uninstalling the app. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the service. On termination your licence ends; sections dealing with ownership, liability, and governing law survive.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, surface the change in the app. Continued use of the app or website after the change takes effect counts as acceptance.

14. Complaints & dispute resolution

If something’s gone wrong, please email andrew@beetrootarcade.co.ukfirst and give us the chance to put it right. If we can’t resolve it you retain your statutory rights including, for UK consumers, the right to use the UK government’s consumer advice service.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
